Find out how to request a quotation, confirm your instruction and arrange a survey or valuation.

If you have received our quotation and would like to proceed, please complete the instruction form below. Read the applicable Terms of Engagement before confirming your acceptance.

Shared ownership valuation: Valuation Terms of Engagement. Help to Buy valuation: Valuation Terms of Engagement.

Submitting this form accepts the proposed instruction and the applicable Terms of Engagement. Your instruction is confirmed, and the contract begins, when we confirm acceptance in writing.

The steps

  1. You send us the property details

    Tell us the property address and postcode, the service you need and anything you already know about the property. Use the quotation form, email or telephone.

  2. We advise which service suits

    If a different survey or valuation would suit the property better than the one you asked about, we will explain why.

  3. We send a quotation and the applicable terms

    The quotation sets out the service, what it includes and the fee, together with the Terms of Engagement that would apply.

  4. You review the quotation

    Read the quotation and the terms, and ask us any questions before deciding whether to proceed.

  5. You confirm your instruction

    Complete the instruction form, selecting the service and accepting the applicable Terms of Engagement. Your instruction is confirmed, and the contract begins, when we confirm acceptance in writing.

  6. We arrange access and inspect

    Access is arranged with the owner, occupier or agent, as appropriate. We discuss the property with you beforehand, carry out the inspection and prepare the report.

  7. We discuss the report

    Once you have read the report, contact us with any questions about its findings or recommendations.

Useful things to have ready

  • The full address and postcode.
  • Contact details for the owner, occupier or agent, for arranging access.
  • For a valuation, its purpose and, if you are buying, the agreed or proposed price.
  • Any survey, report or paperwork already in existence.
  • Your target exchange date, if you have one.
  • Your solicitor's details, if the report is to be discussed with them.
